Activities & Meals

Emmanuel welcomes your loved one to make friends while playing card games, watching a movie, or participating in a regularly planned group activity. Community is essential for everyone, especially seniors. Know that your senior can enjoy themselves and have fun in the company of others in a safe and inviting space.

While your senior is at our welcoming facility in St. Charles, their physical well-being will be monitored. They’ll receive healthy, homestyle meals, routine screenings from a kind registered nurse, and access to exercise equipment like a treadmill and stationary bike to stay fit.

Emotional Support

When your senior needs additional emotional support, he or she can talk to our caring, licensed psychologist on-site, Nicole Johnson, with NJ Counseling Services. Nicole is also available to you and your family. Case management services are available as needed.

Adult Day Services

Emmanuel’s full-day and half-day programs offer engaging activities, warm meals, and professional care, ensuring seniors stay active and safe.

Full-day care includes structured activities, such as various card/board games, community outings, like bowling and winery trips, and all-out BINGO hosted each week with multiple prizes given away. Free meals and snacks are available, as are support services and community engagement from morning to evening.

Half-day care provides similar services for a shorter duration, often morning or afternoon, catering to individuals needing less time but benefiting from socializing and community.

Evening Care Services

Our evening care services provide gentle support, activities, and warm meals, helping seniors unwind in a safe environment.

Typically includes social activities, meals, exercise, and personal care assistance. Health monitoring is also available.

Transportation Services

We offer door-to-door transportation with accessible vehicles and trained staff, ensuring seniors arrive comfortably at Emmanuel Adult Day Center, medical appointments, and other locations.

Meals & Snacks Provided

Emmanuel offers a welcoming space where seniors can enjoy activities, lively social gatherings, nutritious meals, and personalized care. We’re here to help you thrive every day.
Our flexible pricing makes sure seniors can access quality care without financial stress. Many participants use Medicaid or long-term care insurance to cover costs, and Emmanuel’s Director, Mirinda Johnson, can guide you through your options.
We understand that every senior’s schedule is unique! Our weekday hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Respite evening care runs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday. And weekend hours are Saturday and. Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Emmanuel gives you the flexibility to attend as little or as often as you need, whether you're looking for full-day care or just a few hours of engagement.
Our caring, compassionate staff includes trained caregivers, nurses, and activity coordinators, many of whom have deep roots in the St. Louis community. We create meaningful experiences for every participant.

Yes! We provide safe, reliable door-to-door transportation, so getting to and from our center is hassle-free.
